Bokeh It's all metal and are very solid and well built. Conclusion Over all a very nice lens. Image quality wide open is quite nice with good center sharpness and not too much corner softness. You do get some glow, vignetting etc but nothing to bad. Stop it down to about f/2.8 and you can get a nice clean image quality. Compare this to the Pentax-M 50mm f/1.7 and the Pentax have a slight advantage but not by much. But a Chinon lens is usually a bit cheaper and gives great value for the money.
