Its sharp even wide open and have good contrast etc. Like most of these type of lenses you get unsharp corners even at f/11. It's pretty far out and I wouldn't say that it's a big problem on this one. f/2.9

All metal housing so its like a rock …... made of metal … and hollow :) Conclusion I really like this camera and for a medium format 6x6 this is still quite small. Sharness are very good but corners are soft which is quite common of this type of lens. Also renders very well but bokeh can look a bit odd on some cases.
