Download full size image. Here (up to 5mb)Wide open have good center sharpness but quite a lot of corner softness and vignetting. The lens is great from f/4 or less. f/2 - f/2.8 - f/4 - f/5.6 - f/8 - f/11 - f/16 Bokeh Great!
Digital Pictures taken with a Canon 500D at ISO100 and I used a M42 to Canon mount adapter Bokeh Flare Can get quite a lot of flare. More sample images can be found at: http://www.sample-image.com/helios-44-2-58mm-f2/ Filming Really good! Very solid and well put together. Conclusion Famous lens that is renowned for its nice bokeh and I can't say that i'm disappointed there. Also seems to be popular to use as a macro lens with extension tubes. With great center sharpness and nice bokeh makes this lens is ideal for that. Most parts a great lens but not at everything. Thumbs up: Bokeh Center sharpness Thumbs down: Flare Corner softness wide open Want to help
