Pictures taken with a Canon 500D at ISO100 and I used a M42 to Canon mount adapter f/2.8 - f/4 - f/5.6 - f/8 - f/11 - f/16 Bokeh Flare Filming All metal. Very robust and got a nice feel to it. Conclusion Looks and feels great but with a awkward lens design. You have to turn about 350 ° to focus from infinit to 0.5m. The focus gripring is also quite small and the aperture ring very close and sticks out. This makes it quite easy to change the aperture when you turn the focus. So it's a lot of turning that I don't see why you need. Image quality is not very impressive wide open which is quite flat. Stop it down and you get fairly nice shots with okay center center sharpness but corner softness are still quite noticeable. Bokeh and flares look good. Thumbs up: Build quality Bokeh and Flare 12 bladed aperure Thumbs down: Image quality wide open Corner softness Lens design Closest focus of 0.5m (1.7ft) Want to help
