Everything is glowing and it's like this at all aperture. Great sharpness and its only at the very edge that you have some soft corners. Download full

Its from Russia with love! All metal and is solid as a rock. Conclusion Apparently can some old Russian lenses image and built quality vary from lens to lens. This lens is good or bad depending what you think of the glow effect that you have at all apertures. And I first thought that it was somthing wrong with my lens that created this glow but I can´t see any fungi or anything else that might make this. I don´t mind this at all and think this gives the image a nice feel. And its only on very bright situations you really see this. But if you look at the quality and skip the glowing bit this is a awesome lens. Its really sharp at all apertures and you only get soft corners at the very edga wide open. Contrast is also great at all apertures. Thumbs up: Image quality Build quality Glow if you like that Thumbs down: Glow if you don´t like this Flare Want to help
