Posted by Bengt Köhler Sandberg 05-09-2011 Why? Seems like no one wants this nowadays and you can buy this for next to nothing on Ebay etc. And that´s why I love this camera, it got all the settings you need and its very light weight. This don´t have have a ton of settings but it has what you need and nothing more. Shutter speed 1/1000 to 1 sec and a B-mode, its not a lot but enough for 90% of my use. It has a auto shutter mode that´s works great and is also helpful in very lowlight. You can get exposure times that last for minutes and there quite accurate to, important that you cover the viewfinder otherwise the shutter time might get very off. The shutter is
electronically-controlled and the camera uses one 3V
lithium battery or 1.55V silver-oxide batteries (SR44)
or two 1.5V alkaline-manganese batteries (LR-44)
The light metering works great. Viewfinder is bright and have 92% frame coverage Self timer: Approx. 10-sec.
Lenses: It uses Ai lenses. That´s all Nikon lenses that can manually adjust the aperture except non-Ai lenses (1976 and back) Operating + Sounds
So if your looking
for a cheap light weight SLR this is a great one.
If you want faster shutter speed and a bit more
settings you have the Nikon FE2 but this usually
cost about 3-4 times more then the FG20.
