Conclusion Image quality wide open has quite good center sharpness but also very noticeable corner softness. Stop it down a bit and you can get some very nice quality pictures. But some of the corner softness are still there on a full frame camera. Also renders well with nice contrast and bokeh. Flares looks good but I did get a little internal reflections from the silver metal aperture blades. Some very similar pictures taken directly into the sun did not show any of this is it looks like the lens don't do this to easily. Closest focus of 0.25m (0.8ft) is also a nice plus. Overall a very nice lens. Thumbs up: Image quality Renders, Bokeh and flare Build quality and feel Closest Focus: 0.25m (0.8ft) Thumbs down: Corner softness Want to help
