Conclusion Image quality wide open has quite good center sharpness but also soft corners. Renders well with nice contrast, bokeh and flare. Stop it down a bit and you can get some great sharpness. Closest focus of 0.33m (1.1ft) is always a nice plus and the size of the lens is still similar to most 50mm. Overall a very nice lens. Thumbs up: Image quality Renders, Bokeh and flare Build quality and feel Closest Focus: 0.33m (1.1ft) Thumbs down: Corner softness Want to help
