Build qualityMixed metal and plastic. The lens important parts are metal while the focus and aperture ring is plastic with some sort of rubber for grip. This plastic ruins some of the feel and will probably not take all that much physical abuse. Conclusion Overall a very nice lens.. Image quality is sharp and not that much corner softness. Renders well with good contrast and bokeh. But it do have some glow and loses a little contrast wide open. Flare and backlight can also be a little problem. Thumbs up: Image quality Bokeh Thumbs down: Closest Focus of 0.6m (2ft) Want to help
