Very good and built like a tank. Also have a nice feel to it. Conclusion This was my favorite standard lens when I used a digital SLR but sold this when I went over to my analogue Nikon equipment. Which I regret after picking up the love for m42 lenses again. But now I found a nice new copy and can see why I loved this lens before. It's a awesome lens and a greatly underappreciated one considering what you can buy this for with some luck. Compare this to my now favorite SMC Takumar 55mm f/1.8 which is a renowned as a great lens. This have a tiny bit better corner softness but little worse bokeh. The Takumar have extremely good feel and this have a nice quality feel but not as good as the Takumar. Thumbs up: Image and build quality Thumbs down: Closest Focus of 0.6m (2ft) Want to help
