Viewfinder: Fairly small and not that great brightness. Info: Exposure meter (match needle) Shutter type: Vertical metal blade shutter. Build quality: Very solid and well built. Lenses: Uses M42 screw mount. You can find hole range of old nice lenses for this.
Conclusion: Most of the Praktica cameras have the same camera housing and they added a feature with a new model. This have electronic m42 mount which make it possible for lines that support it to have light metering without stopping down the lens. The problem is that this camera can't stop down a lens that don't support this so you can only have wide open light metering on these. These cameras have great build quality and the vertical metal shutter is very reliable. Do lack some of that nice feel that many m42 SLR cameras have and I see this more like a reliable workhorse. Thumbs up: Build quality Reliable Thumbs down: Viewfinder No mirror lock Lightmeter don't work well with all lenses. Want to help
