Very plasticky and will not endure much physical abuse. Lens mount is metal. Conclusion Fairly good image quality when it comes to sharpness and how it renders. Glow can be a problem and this gets worse the closer you focus. And this can be quite bad at closest focus. Most of the lens exterior is plastic.
