Both the later and newer models are nice. They have very nice and smooth focusing which gives it a nice feel. I prefer the older all metal ver which is really great all over. And the newer is a bit plasticky and feels a little cheap. Conclusion It's a nice lens that have great image quality. Renders very well with good contrast, bokeh etc. Also a small and lightweight which is always a plus. The older all metal ver has a better feel to it but is slightly heavier. Overall a great lens which often can be found for a small price. Thumbs up: Image and build quality Bokeh / Flare Lightweight Value for the money Thumbs down: Newer ver is a bit plasticky Want to help
