Samsung Slim
Zoom 70s Reviews
Posted by Bengt Köhler Sandberg 2013-09-10 Have not been able to find any spec info on this camera. So I only know what one can read out on the camera and test myself. Specs: Lens: Samsung Zoom 35-70mm Closest Focus: Don't know but it seems to be around 0.8m (3ft) Aperture: ? Shutter: ?? but do have B (Bulb) Leaf shutter Light meter: Yes Battery: One 3v CR123A Flash: Yes, built in only Weight: 230g (without battery) Self-timer 10s or 2s Dubbel exposure Interval pictures (camera take one shot every 10s) Is also have a mode called Fuzzy which I don't know what it does. I would guess that it would make fuzzy images but can't say I could see much difference. Takes 135 film (DX Coded) 24×36 mm negative size. Viewfinder: Very small but good brightness and work fairly well. Image quality Build quality Very plastic but fairly well put together. The feel of the camera is not that great. Conclusion I did not expect wonders from this camera but one can also be surprised sometimes. But this is unfortunately not one of those times. This is quite a typical camera of this sort. Easy to use point and click which works good but lacks exposure control. The AF and auto exposure works very well and next to all shots got as expected. Very noisy motor for the zoom and film advance. Image quality is not that great when it comes to sharpness. Contrast are quite flat but it handels flare and bokeh very well. But can be a fun and cheap pocket camera which is still full frame. And this can of course also take some nice shots. It also have some odd features like double exposure which can be fun. Thumbs up: Lightweight and quiet small Auto exposure and AF Thumbs down: Plastic / feel Image quality Slow lens Everything so auto only Want to help
