Bokeh Very well made and are solid as a rock. Conclusion A lens that are hard not to love but like most it is not perfect. It's really well made and has a great feel to it. Looks a little bit odd with that small front lens but I like it. It also has that flat edge in the font which can be a little problem in some cases. Focus to infinity and the filter thread part goes a little behind this edge. And this can be a problem if you use anything on the filter thread which is slightly bigger. For example I mostly have 52mm filter so I need to use a 49-52 step up ring which in this case hit the edge. Could still use it and still focus to infinity if you don't screw the step up ring all the way in. I find the image quality very good. Sharpness is good but you can find slightly better once there. But there are few lenses with this age that can compete how well corrected this lens are for corner sharpness. Wide open has more or less none on a cropped sensor and still very little on full frame. It also has quite nice contrast and bokeh. Flare and backlight can however be a problem. Overall really nice lens. Thumbs up: Image quality Corner sharpness Build quality & feel Closest Focus: 0.25m (0.8ft) Thumbs down: Front edge can hit a slightly bigger filter Want to help
