f/2.8 Sharp even wide open and you only have a little unsharp corners at the very edges f/5.6 Better sharpness and the unsharp corners are next to all gone f/16 Lose a little contrast but sharpness holds up nicely Download full
size image. Here (up to 5mb)
Build qualityf/2.8 - f/5.6 - f/16 Bokeh Seen worse but not the best Flare You can get quite big flares with this, so it's not the best lens to shoot that nice sunset with. And it got a big front lens so you can get a flare quite easy ftom the side.
Digital Pictures taken with a Canon 500D at ISO100 and I used a M42 to Canon mount adapter f/2.8 - f/4 - f/5.6 - f/8 - f/11 - f/16 Bokeh Filming Everything is made of metal to the highest mechanical standards, so it will probably last 100 years + Conclusion First impression "wow what a rock solid lens" But its also big and heavy compared to similar lenses. Image quality is good and all moving parts have a nice feel to them. Size comparison
to the Nikon 28mm f/2.8 AI
Thumbs up: Image quality Built quality Thumbs down: Flare problem Big and heavy compared to similar lenses Want to help
