Wide-Auto 28mm f/2.8 Reviews
Posted by Bengt Köhler Sandberg 2012-10-25 (updated 2014-01-26) Specs:
Slight difference with this later model. Rubber grip on the focus ring and it has a more normal switch between A or M aperture. I can focus down to 0.3m (1ft) Weight is 250g Seems to be the exact lens optical and I can't see any difference in image quality. Image quality Analogue B&W
film
Build qualityVery good and solid. Conclusion A lens that is nicely built and renders quite well. Wide open has some glow and the center sharpness is okay but not great and gets quite fast soft towards the corners. But stop it down a little and it's nice and sharp. Bokeh and flares also looks fairly good. One thing I don't like about the construction of the older version A - M aperture setting ring. This is placed just under the aperture ring so it's very easy to change this by accident when you turn the aperture ring. This is changed for the better on the newer ver which has a more normal switch that are not as easy to change by accident. Thumbs up: Bokeh & Flare Build quality Thumbs down: Corner softness A - M aperture setting ring (Older ver) Fokus down to 0.45m (1.5ft) (Older ver) Want to help
