This is quite
sharp in the middle, but this is only in the
very middle.
Corner sharpness is lousy. f/16 Even f/16 suffers a little from unsharp corners. Like most cameras from the 50s it got a all metal body and have good built quality. Conclusion This lens have lousy corner sharpness, but it's not a harsh unsharpness. So its not as striking like some simular cameras have. Other than that it have nice contrast and little vinjettering. If you consider what you can buy this camera for today I wouldn't say that its that bad. Thumbs up: Good center sharpness (but only in the very center wide open) Light weight (for a medium format) Thumbs down: Bad corners! bad! Shutter only go down to 1/25s Want to help
