Build qualityf/1.7 - f/2 - f/2.8 - f/4 - f/5.6 - f/8 - f/11 - f/16 Bokeh Can look awful in some occasions and good in others.
Digital Pictures taken with a Canon 500D at ISO100 and I used a M42 to Canon mount adapter f/1.7 - f/2 - f/2.8 - f/4 - f/5.6 - f/8 - f/11 - f/16 Bokeh Sample More sample images can be found at: http://www.sample-image.com/yashica-auto-yashinon-dx-50mm-f1-7/ Filming Very good and solid. Also have a great feel to it. Conclusion Build and image quality is really great exept but the bokeh is not always the best looking. However one thing that might be a problem is that the back lens goes closer to the mirror than most other M42 lenses do. This can result in some cameras mirror to hit the back of the lens when focused to infinity. Hade this problem with a Pentax Spotmatic and a Fujica ST701. But works great on my Canon 500D, Chinon CS or my two Yashica M42 SLR. Don't think you ever find this problem on a cropped sensor digital SLR but can be on a full frame. Thumbs up: Image and build quality Feel Thumbs down: Bokeh Mirror can hit the lens on some cameras Want to help
