Zeiss Ikon Ikoflex Ia 854/16 Reviews Posted by Bengt Köhler Sandberg 2012-05-14 Made between 1952-56 Specs: Lens: Zeiss - Opton Tessar 75mm f/3.5 Aperture: f/3.5 - f/16 10 bladed aperure Shutter: Prontor SV 1/300 sec to 1 sec plus a Bulb setting Takes standard 120 film You get 12 6x6 images per roll Automatic film advance stop Double-exposure prevention Image quality This lens is bearing the famous red T that Zeiss best lenses do. But is it that good that one expect? Analogue B&W film
It has really good center sharpness even wide open f/3.5 Corner Sharpness Cornes sharness is also very good. Bokeh Really nice!
Macro Accessory Also got this camera with macro accessory Can't see any loss in image quality All metal and build like a tank. Conclusion Just a great camera at all points! Great image quality and built like a tank. I don't like that the shutter button is located on the top which makes a bit fiddly to screw in a shutter release. And the viewfinder have no focus help at all which I suppose was not that uncommon in the 50s. Thumbs up: Really good image quality Build quality Thumbs down: Shutter button location Viewfinder have no focus help Want to help
