Zeiss Ikon Ikonta 524/16 Reviews
Posted by Bengt Köhler Sandberg 2011-12-26 Specs: Lens: Novar - Anastigmat 75mm Aperture f/3.5 - f/32 Shutter: Prontor-SV 1/300 sec to 1 sec plus a Bulb setting Takes standard 120 film 6x6 Double-exposure prevention Rangefinder that is a big plus for these types of cameras. Image quality Its not a bad lens but at f/3.5 you have a little bit of sharpness in the middle then it very bad in the corners. Stop it down one or two steps and it will preform good but still lack sharpness in the corners. Download full

This is image is taken at f/16 Download full size image. Here (up to 5mb) Really sharp image so this can perform but even here you have those unsharp corners with is disappointing.
Build quality Great quality and have a nice feel to it. Conclusion I really like this camera and for a medium format 6x6 this it as small as they get. The built in range finder works really great but is a bit small and dark. Normalt not a problem but it can be hard to see in bad light conditions. Thumbs up: Small size Really sharp images if you stop it down Thumbs down: f/3.5 performs pretty bad Want to help
