Image quality

This lens is bearing the famous red T that Zeiss best lenses do.
But is it that good that one expect?

  f/2,8
Corner Sharpness

Like most of these type of lenses you have corner sharpness problems wide open.
And unfortunately this one suffers a bit from that as well.

Build quality

This is a class of its own.
The normal Ikona cameras have a great build quality, but this is even better.
But the downside to this is that its alot heavier.

Conclusion

I must say I enjoy using this camera. Its not perfect and there are some thing you wish was better.
But good things overshadow the bad things by miles.
Corner sharpness wide open is not the best and it feels like Zeiss overdid the lens so thy could sell a f/2,8 that was quite a big thing in the 30s.
If you compare this to the Novar - Anastigmat 75mm f/3,5 the Tessar lens is still a lot better at all apertures!

Thumbs up:
Build quality
Picture quality
Easy to use compared to many similar cameras

Thumbs down:
Corner sharpness wide open
11 images per roll
